End of an Era was the culminating event for the completion of my two, five-year (extended by two years due to parental leaves) terms as a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Interactive Media and Popular Music.

 

During this event, many of my collaborators, research partners, colleagues, artists, friends, and family came to the IMP Labs for a presentation about the research completed since 2007 when the CRC began. Following this event, the night continued with performances by many artists that I have collaborated with over the years, including a very early performance by the band that I had recently began performing in during the GRRown-Ups Camp just a few months prior to the celebration.
